An aspect ratio describes the relationship of an object’s width to its height. It is commonly used in computing to describe the proportions of a rectangular screen. To illustrate, a monitor 20 inches wide by 15 inches tall has an aspect ratio of 20:15. Reducing this number to its common denominator is 4:3. The following are supported ratios. Ratio | Dimension |
