Xidipity WordPress Theme Knowledge Base Guide Content Header Image

The Xidipity theme is hosted on GitHub. GitHub is a code hosting platform with version control and collaboration. It allows development teams to work together on projects from anywhere. This popular development tool currently hosts over 100 million projects.





  1. Download latest source code zip file
  2. In the WordPress Dashboard, go to Appearance (​ ​ ) ​ keyboard_double_arrow_right ​ Themes
  3. Click ‘Add New’
  4. Click ‘Upload Theme’
  5. Click ‘Choose File’
  6. Select the Xidipity theme download zip file
  7. Click ‘Install Now’
  8. Upon completion, click ‘activate’ to use
  9. Click visit site



  1. Open WordPress Dashboard
  2. Go to Plugins (​ ) and click ‘Add New’
  3. Search for ‘ Classic Editor ‘ – install & activate
  4. In the WordPress Dashboard, go to Settings (​ ) ​ keyboard_double_arrow_right ​ Writing
  5. Set the default editor for all users to ‘classic editor’
  6. Click ‘Save Changes’
  7. Configure other WordPress parameters as desired
  8. Create Something Great 🙂

In circumstances where many plug-ins are installed, it is best to temporarily deactivate them during the installation process. The issue this mitigates is server memory utilization and this ensures Xidipity installs correctly. After installation is complete, all deactivated templates can be reactivated.
